On Wednesday September 21st, we had our first Insta-Art table of the year at Alton High School.
Insta-Art has the purpose of encouraging creative expression and positive interaction for students with their fellow students, teachers, and themselves.
This Wednesday the students were invited to stop by to artistically respond to a #(hashtag).

Paper strips and markers were available to students. They were asked to write down or draw on a paper strip a thought or a wish for someone going through a hard time in order to instill #hope. The strips were then stapled together to create a "chain of hearts".
The InstaArt table will be present every Wednesday in the Alton High School Cafeteria during the lunch hours.
