As customary in our
district, each month we focus on a "character trait" to describe a
personal strength that could define who we are and how we act.
The Month of August Character Trait is: "Self
Control". Having self-control is defined as “having power and
control over one’s emotion, action, and words”.
This is particularly useful especially when faced with difficult
situations. Having self-control helps a person to make the right decision
without following the own impulses or even when “we do not feel like it”.
